**Provenance.** This chapter is a primary field record. Every incident in it was observed on the author’s own production stack, and the evidence is the dated record of those incidents rather than the published literature, so the chapter cites no external work. That is a property of the material, not an omission: the nine classes were admitted only when a real incident forced each one, and nothing here is inherited from a source that could be cited instead. No internal file, path, or hash identifiers appear in the body.

### System Update: July 2026 (appended; the sealed body above is unmodified)

The catalogue's central division (the classes a mechanism can close versus the four only a watchful human can) now has a measured backing it did not at seal. Sixty-four days of per-hook telemetry (2026-05-11 → 07-15) record the gates that close the mechanizable classes firing under real load: across **390,515 events** the deterministic layer issued **1,142 hard blocks**, and several map directly onto classes named in this paper: the reorient gate (recency-over-contradiction, Class 1) blocked 50 times, the read-before-edit and dedup gates 69 and 18, the skill-routing and write-protection gates 459 and 239. The drift this paper documents is, class by class, the drift those gates now catch; the four they cannot reach remain exactly where this paper leaves them, with the operator. The full fire record is the companion *Hook Telemetry Record*. Provenance: sixty-six daily per-hook telemetry files. Append-only; the sealed body above is unmodified.
